Endoscopy Technician
About The Position
AMSURG is an independent leader in ambulatory surgery center services, operating a network of more than 250 surgery centers nationwide. In partnership with physicians and health systems, the organization delivers high-quality care for patients across a diverse spectrum of medical specialties, including gastroenterology, ophthalmology and orthopedics. Ocean Endosurgery Center is currently searching for a Full-Time Endoscopy Technician to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- BLS certification
- One year of patient care experience in a health care setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstration of strong professional and ethical practices
- Physical capabilities of performing position responsibilities
Nice To Haves
- Endoscopy technician experience preferred
Responsibilities
- cleaning procedure rooms
- assisting physicians in procedures
- processing scopes
- restocking and changing over rooms
- performing housekeeping duties
- assisting in maintenance of all supplies
