About The Position

The Endoscopy Technician, under the guidance of the registered nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of patients under his/her care. The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for case preparation, assisting with patient preparation, proper handling of instruments supplies and equipment, preparation of the room based upon the specific procedure and physician's preference, and anticipating the physician's needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• 1 year experience in a procedural or operating room Preferred

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology Preferred
