About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate team player to join our Endoscopy unit, In this role you will assist the providers with a variety of endoscopic procedures, ensuring that each patient receives high quality care.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/GED.
• BCLS required.
• Prior GI experience required.
• CNA I or CNA II required.
• Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and care quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the procedure room and assist the provider during procedures.
• Reprocess endoscopes according to established protocol.
• Perform equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available for procedures.
• Educating and comforting patients before, during and after procedures to provide a positive experience.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and unit efficiency.
• Able to assist with back up late and call rotation (weekday, weekend and holiday).
