About The Position

Overview Schedule is Monday-Friday, working two 10 hour days. Be part of a busy dynamic team in our Endoscopy suite. Job duties include assisting physicians during endoscopy procedures, handling specimens collected and cleaning equipment. Previous healthcare experience a plus, but will train. Responsibilities Assists physicians with various procedures, including, but not limited to, colonoscopies, upper gastrointestinal endoscopies. Prepares procedure room for case, maintaining clean examination areas by setting up rooms, cleaning instruments after case. Handles the maintenance of all endoscopes including high level disinfection and reprocessing. Responsible for maintaining inventory par levels, restocking endoscopy related supplies in procedure rooms and monitoring expiration dates. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications High school graduate with previous health care experience preferred. Must possess the ability to anticipate, prioritize, and coordinate work. Must function independently, as well as a member of a team in a high stress environment. Excellent verbal communication skills required. Required Licensure/Certifications BLS within 30 days of hire. NH Medical Technician Registration required upon hire.
