About The Position

Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team in Duluth, MN! What you get to do in this role: Assist physicians with the full spectrum of therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures, including advanced and specialized techniques. Support high-quality patient care by ensuring readiness and efficiency during procedures. This position MUST be able to work the following: 64 hours per pay period Rotating 8 Hour Shifts with varied start times Start Times: 7:00AM, 7:30AM, 8:00AM start times On Call Shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Completion of healthcare program (such as LPN, CA, NA, EMT, etc.) or equivalent technical healthcare training, education or experience
• 8-12 months of related experience in healthcare or patient care experience
• Medical terminology

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrating proficiency assisting with routine diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures including, screening flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and EGD, and experience assisting in specialized procedures
• Experience using electronic medical record
