About The Position
The Endoscopy Technician II role assists the provider and RN directly with technical aspects of endoscopy procedures (biopsies, wire manipulation, polyp removals, etc.), along with cleaning rooms as directed. Schedule- Monday- Friday, rotating day shift, 7am-5:30pm, no weekends/holidays, but does require rotating holiday call coverage.
Requirements
- SGNA Associates Module Certificate of completion and passing score required.
- One year of' experience as an Endoscopy Technician level 1 required.
- Competent in ERCP, which includes using highly specialized scopes, imaging equipment, wires, balloons, etc. required.
- Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of an Endoscopy Technician I role.
