Find your purpose by helping get patients the answers they need. As an Endoscopy Technician, you'll work side-by-side with doctors and nurses and actively participate in endoscopies, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies and other procedures. Patients will need you to be their coach while they undergo some procedures. An Endoscopy Technician is a wonderful first step toward a career in health care. Doctors and nurses often begin as Endo Techs. You'll also keep patients safe and mitigate infection by performing high level disinfecting and maintenance on a variety of scopes. You'll succeed faster in this role if you have previous healthcare experience and know anatomy and medical terminology (especially related to gastroenterology), but we can train you if you don't already have this knowledge.
