Requirements
- High School diploma or GED

- Hospital experience as a unit secretary or medical terminology knowledge
Responsibilities
- Escort patients to the procedure area for surgery and endoscopy.
- Obtain and record vital signs in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Perform pregnancy tests and check blood sugar levels as required.
- Clean and sanitize scopes and procedure rooms according to protocol.
- Assist the physician during endoscopy procedures, including polyp removal and biopsy collection.
- Scan and upload documentation into the EMR system.
- Monitor and reorder supplies as needed.
