About The Position
Responsible for assisting the physicians who are performing diagnostic or therapeutic endoscopic procedures for patients of all ages. Ambulatory Surgery provides pre, intra and post op care to surgical and procedural sedation patients.#We provide service for the patient population of pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly patients.#We work with a variety of provider specialties in caring for people going home that day or are being admitted to the hospital.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six (6) months current scrub tech, central services, or similar patient care experience required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital or endoscopy experience preferred.
- Experience or training in medical terminology and computer applications preferred.
