About The Position

LWRMC is conveniently located near I-75 and University Parkway in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. The position of Endoscopy Tech is a per diem role with a varied schedule that includes call. The Endoscopy Tech assists in providing nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, performing assistive duties, maintaining instruments, equipment, and supplies, and assisting in the preparation, transportation, and supervision of patients.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Surgical certification or 2 years of endoscopy or surgical related experience.
• BLS certification.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing nursing care to the patient undergoing an endoscopic procedure.
• Performs assistive duties.
• Assists in the maintenance of instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assists in preparation, transportation, and supervision of patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
