Description We’re seeking a nurse with Endoscopy and Procedural area experience . The Procedural Service Line Coordinator is responsible for the overall daily operations of assigned service line and communication with surgeons/proceduralists that fall under the service line specialty. ICU CC Med Surg Capable clinician who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population. Demonstrates developed assessment skills, recognizing the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes. Evaluates patient's response to planned care and adjusts plan of care as appropriate while identifying patient and family learning needs and makes recommendations to resources regarding those needs. Incorporates AACN Synergy Model into clinical practice. Delegates appropriately utilizing the Synergy model of care and recognizes the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patient and family care partners utilizing them appropriately as resources in planning patient care. Functions in a developing leadership role, Charge Nurse when assigned. Orients staff or students as assigned in absence of designated preceptor. Utilizes resources in a responsible manner with a focus on cost containment. Identifies and implements a course of action in non-routine situations, seeking assistance to resolve complex issues. Accepts personal accountability for professional development and growth. Emory Decatur Hospital’s stand-alone Endoscopy Unit has advance GI services that host a mixture of community and employed Gastrologists.

  • Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), AND A. 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years, OR B. Recent completion of a re-entry nursing program. OR, 2. Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience within the past five years. Exceptions: Current LPNs employed within the Emory Healthcare (EHC) system who have completed an accredited RN program and obtain RN licensure are eligible to transition into this role while completing the RN Resident Program. Emory LPNs enrolled in an Emory ADN program as of 3/30/2025 must sign an obligation agreement to complete an ADN-to-BSN program within two years of entering the RN Clinician role.
  • A valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS may be required for certain departments, post hire
