Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:

Requirements

  • Current Oregon state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • ACLS required within 60 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
  • Epic experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients under the direction of a Physician(s) and within their scope of practice according to the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
  • Performs patient assessment and triage, either in person or over the phone.
  • Assists in all phases of patient care, including admitting, assisting during procedures, and recovery.
  • Accurately handles all specimens, completes laboratory request forms, and verifies information is correct.
  • Ensures equipment and supplies are cleaned, disinfected, and available when needed.
  • Orders and maintains medical inventory of supplies as needed.
  • Provides patient and family health education.
  • Updating records as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
