About The Position

We are a fast-paced growing outpatient gastroenterology surgery center dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Our team specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, in a safe and efficient environment.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing care to patients throughout all phases of their procedure, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery.

Requirements

• Current RN license in [State]
• BLS and ACLS certification required or able to obtain in first 6 months of employment
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, including assessment and education
• Assist physicians during colonoscopy and upper endoscopy procedures
• Monitor patients under sedation and ensure safety throughout the procedure
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
