As an Endodontic Dental Assistant at Ideal Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting both our patients and clinical team throughout the endodontic treatment process. You’ll be equipped with the training, tools, and resources to grow your skills and advance your career in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Every day, you’ll help create confident smiles and contribute to the long-term oral health of the community. What you'll do: Create a welcoming environment for patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their endodontic journey. Support patients through complex endodontic procedures, helping them feel informed, calm, and confident throughout their treatment experience. Work alongside the Endodontist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience tailored to each patient’s needs. Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery to promote healing and long-term oral health. Coordinate care and follow-ups, ensuring patients receive timely treatment and clear communication throughout their visit. Maintain detailed and accurate records to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care. Foster a collaborative team environment by staying proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality specialty care. Contribute to the success of the endodontic practice by helping manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of specific endodontic experience.
  • Must be willing to travel within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests with a smile.
  • Assisting Endodontist with procedures.
  • Sterilizing instruments and setting up trays.
  • Preparing treatment rooms.
  • Performing X-rays.
  • Charting existing and recommended treatments.
  • Performing other duties as required to support the office and Endodontic team.
