About The Position

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking to hire a MD/DO for Bon Secours Diabetes & Endocrinology practice in Richmond, VA. This is an exciting new growth opportunity for the provider looking to be busy with a growing practice. The new provider will help to support patients with serious or complex endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques. In addition, conducting research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques. We are looking to hire in the summer of 2024! Experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply! Job Details Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm Call Schedule: Rotates every week, cross coverage shared with the providers on the team Hospital Credentialing: St. Mary’s Hospital & Memorial Regional Medical Center Average patients per day: 19-23 Patient Age Range: 18 and up EMR: EPIC with telemedicine Practice support in place Mentorship available Special Skills & Training:o Diabetes Management & Endocrine Disorders o A medical degree in endocrinology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship o A medical license and certification to practice endocrinology o A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions o Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses o Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills o Strong organizational, problem-solving, and researching skillso Proficiency with computers and medical equipment

Requirements

  • Diabetes Management & Endocrine Disorders
  • A medical degree in endocrinology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship
  • A medical license and certification to practice endocrinology
  • A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions
  • Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and researching skills
  • Proficiency with computers and medical equipment
