About The Position

The Endocrinology & Rheumatology Fellowship Program Coordinator at Emory University is responsible for managing the fellowship programs within the Division of Endocrinology and Division of Rheumatology. This role involves coordinating administrative activities for complex residency programs, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and supporting residency recruitment efforts. The coordinator will also maintain academic records and assist with budget tracking, all while fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and three years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform or coordinate administrative activities associated with complex residency programs.
  • Prepare the program for accreditation site visits and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Plan resident orientation and manage rotation scheduling and evaluation systems.
  • Maintain residents' academic files including rotations, evaluations, curriculum, and other critical documentation.
  • Assist in residency recruitment programs by updating brochures, advertisements, and coordinating recruitment trips.
  • Assist in resolving foreign nationals' visa issues.
  • Maintain required record-keeping and databases pertaining to residency programs.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required.
