About the position

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest health systems in the state as an endocrinologist. The role involves working alongside 12 other endocrinologists and 4 advanced practice clinicians (APCs) in a supportive environment with a favorable call schedule. The practice focuses on a variety of in-office procedures and provides comprehensive care for patients with diabetes and metabolic disorders, including specialized care for transgender and HIV patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive endocrinology care to patients.
  • Perform in-office procedures such as continuous glucose monitoring, thyroid ultrasound, and thyroid biopsies.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary Endocrine Tumor Board.
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Engage in clinical and quality improvement research projects.
  • Conduct outpatient diabetes education and classes for patients with DM1 and DM2.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Endocrinology.
  • Experience in managing diabetes and metabolic disorders.
  • Ability to perform thyroid ultrasound and biopsies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with transgender and HIV patients.
  • Interest in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
