Requirements

• M.D. or D.O.
• License to practice medicine in Louisiana
• Completion of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism fellowship

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients for diseases and disorders related to hormones and endocrinal glands.
• Examine patients and study their medical records.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation to other physicians as needed.
• Call coverage after hours and for other physicians as deemed appropriate.
• Attend and participate in scheduled departmental administrative and academic meetings.
• Travel to Morgan City, Louisiana, weekly for a clinic.
