About The Position

The Mayo Clinic Division of Endocrinology is seeking a physician consultant in adult endocrinology for an expanding academic practice at our Arizona campus. We are seeking an endocrinology physician with clinical expertise in diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, thyroid cancer and other complex endocrine disorders. In addition, the division of Endocrinology focuses on bone and parathyroid conditions, obesity, pituitary, gonad and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone disease, transgender and intersex care, diabetes technology and inpatient diabetes. Ranked #10 in the United States in 2025 by U.S. News & World Report, the division currently consists of 8 physicians and eight advanced practitioners who are engaged in a busy clinical practice, research and education. The division is home to the second year of an Endocrinology Fellowship. Faculty are engaged in the training of endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students and will be expected to be academically and clinically productive.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in endocrinology.
• Clinical expertise in diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
• Experience in academic medicine and training of medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise in adult endocrinology.
