About The Position

AdventHealth Medical Group alongside AdventHealth Daytona Beach are seeking clinically-focused endocrinologists to join our team in Daytona Beach, Florida. The New physician will have an integral role as we expand our services of Endocrinology across the Volusia County Market. Initially the practice will consist of one physician and one advanced practice provider with a focus on general endocrinology and diabetes. The mission of the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is to improve the lives of people with diabetes, promote a healthy lifestyle, deliver excellence in clinical care and education, and conduct research leading to diabetes prevention and a cure. We also have two more positions, located in Palm Coast Florida and at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares Florida.

Requirements

• Must be fellowship trained
• Have active board certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Board certification or board eligibility (within five years of completion of training) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism

Responsibilities

• Focus on general endocrinology and diabetes
• Provide outpatient care with no inpatient responsibilities
• Work with a care team that includes an APRN or PA-C
• Utilize AI Scribe compatibility with EPIC EMR System
• Participate in shared practice call
