About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Circulator Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in endoscopic procedures. This role requires exceptional patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Florida RN licensure
• Current BLS, or completed within 90 days of hire
• Current ACLS or completed within 90 days of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a perioperative, endoscopy, or procedural setting preferred.
• Knowledge of sedation monitoring and care
• Knowledge of infection control and high-level disinfection procedures specific to endoscopy.
• Strong organizational skills, including proper specimen management techniques.
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the care of patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
• Coordinating patient care and preparing the procedure room.
• Ensuring proper equipment is ready and managing specimens.
• Monitoring the patient during the procedure.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment in compliance with infection control guidelines.
