About The Position

Machine operator that will maintain , troubleshoot, and repair the mechanical End Line equipment.

Requirements

• Good Mechanical aptitude is a must
• Basic knowledge of US measurement
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to organize own work
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire- prevention, and environment protection regulations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Manufacturing facility is a plus
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall Production of machines and quality according to specification sheets
• Ability to do basic repairs on the equipment
• Ab ility to read and understand the information contained on the PO sheet.
• Check accuracy and quality of finished ends
• Locate and clear basic jams that may occur on the machines during Production.
• Correctly read and interpret messages/statuses on the control panels.
• Assist with regular servicing and solving of problems regarding machinery.
• Actively support the maintenance team during line changeover.
• Train or assist other employees on the daily practice s of Produc ti on related duties, such as but not limited to , Product changes , housekeeping and visual quality checks.
• Basic knowledge of the shell press, liners and conversion press.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, rules, procedures, and policies.
• Comply with all environmental requirements as stipulated in ISO 14001 and BRC procedures and guidelines on Health & Safety.
• Perform any reasonable duties assigned by the management staff , corresponding with the role
