About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Work under close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Assist with finishing of manufactured parts: including but not limited to cutting, sanding, deburring, polishing. Utilize various grinding equipment such as- flexible shaft grinders, pencil type grinders, cut-off wheels, sanding wheels, Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. Performs basic daily maintenance or checks on equipment. Other duties as necessary

Requirements

• Ability to perform through unaided visual inspections on small parts
• Working knowledge of manufacturing principals and basic shop math
• High degree of manual dexterity while grinding equipment
• Ability to read and follow work orders, set up data sheets, and measurement instructions
• Strong written and oral communication skills to support business needs
• High School or better.
