About The Position
The Encore Volunteer Program, sponsored by United Way of the CSRA, is part of the AmeriCorps Seniors Program, one of the largest volunteer efforts in the nation for people ages 55 and over. We connect older adults with local organizations to address community needs. Our Encore Program leverages the skills of volunteers to effectively meet these needs. Under the direct supervision of the Encore Volunteer Coordinator, the Encore Volunteer Specialist will support all aspects of the program and office operations, with a focus on clerical, administrative, and related duties. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the Encore Volunteer Program.
