PowerSecure has an immediate opening for an Enclosure Technician on our PowerFab team in Randleman, NC. This position is a temp-to-hire role, meaning that only current temporary employees are eligible to apply. The Enclosure Technician will be responsible for building, wiring, and assembling components according to the instructions provided by the Assembly Lead. These instructions will include electrical and mechanical drawings, and all work performed must adhere to established quality and safety standards. Technicians will receive training in the proper use of power and pneumatic tools, as well as guidance on their maintenance. The role requires a solid understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, construction, and assembly concepts. Additionally, the technician must be able to perform basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The position involves physical demands, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and manipulate heavy test equipment and cables. The technician will be expected to stand and walk on the manufacturing floor throughout the day, ensuring that they remain engaged with the assembly process and adhere to safety protocols.
