As an Emulation Engineer II in the Data Processing Unit team you will be emulating silicon to solve complex problems in a datacenter. You will interact with the architecture, hardware, software QA and platform teams to co-develop a programmable silicon implementation. This position is expected to be highly visible and impactful.   • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Application Specific integrated circuit (ASIC)/ System on Chip (SoC) emulation verification with System Verilog (SV)/Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) environments using any Standard Emulator (Palladium, Protium).
  • 2+ years experience with Python or Perl scripting, including developing systems from scratch.
  • Experience with emulation flows using tools such as Palladium, Protium, Zebu, or Veloce.
  • Familiarity with SpeedBridges and Virtual Transactors.
  • Ability to write and debug RTL test cases for feature-specific scenarios.
  • Background with Jenkins CI systems, software development practices, and Git.
  • Exposure to FPGA platforms such as Xilinx UltraScale+ and Vivado toolchains.
  • Communication and teamwork skills, with interest in taking on a variety of challenges.
  • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year.
  • In the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
