About The Position

Position Details : EMT (Emergency Medical Technician/) 12-hour shifts, available for nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as needed. Non-exempt. PRN, Non-benefited position. Position Summary: Provide pre-hospital care and transportation of ill or injured persons to a medical facility. Operate emergency medical vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Perform duties related to readiness, performance improvement and safety.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
EMT license issued by the State of Oregon.
Current CPR at the AHA Healthcare or BLS Provider Level or Equivalent
Current government ID, such as Driver's License, Military ID, or Passport.
General knowledge of security and safety within healthcare setting.
Must be able to understand and follow confidentiality rules and regulations of the Health District.

Successful completion of 500-hour probationary period.
