Monitor all equipment, supplies, maintenance, and on-going training daily. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and First Aid station. Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Maintain high standard of quality guest service. Report all problems to First Aid supervisors. Patient assessments, including physical examination and First Aid and Basic Life Support. Recognize the need for special or additional assistance; including Advanced Life Support, ambulance transport, patient extrication, rescue, or other services. Responsible for appropriately interviewing patients, family members, and witnesses. Utilize telecommunications, radio communications, and dispatch of resources. Understand and perform appropriately under the Emergency Response Plan, including disaster and Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) operations and management. Infection control, biohazardous material identification, clean up and disposal. Basic identification of hazardous atmospheres, materials, and incidents. Administrative duties may include filing, distribution, computer operations, typing and data entry. Understand, support, and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Patient Care Protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Maintain current State of Arkansas EMT license. Maintain current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card. Friendly and outgoing. Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Must have good attendance and punctuality. Energy and enthusiasm for long shifts. Must be able to follow direction given by supervisor and management. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with other departments. Ability to use good judgement and remain calm in high stress situations. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including hot temperatures and exposure to full sunlight, while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection. Attention to detail. If a corrective device is needed to achieve this range, it must be worn while on duty. Requires good manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech. Possess 20/20 corrected vision. (Corrective lens, if required, must be worn while on duty).
