About The Position

As part of the Worlds of Fun Safety Team, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are responsible for providing medical treatment to associates and guests while acting within their scope of practice. Assess patients to determine the nature and extent of an injury or illness. Provide treatment as defined by protocol and park policy Evaluate and request outside resources when a higher level of care is indicated or requested. Maintain medical, vehicle and communication equipment, process, and complete departmental paperwork, and replenish first aid equipment and supplies Communicate with communications dispatch or First Aid personnel to provide information about a medical situation, to arrange reception of victims, or to receive instructions for further treatment. Assist in controlling crowds, protecting valuables, or performing other duties at scene of incident as directed. Requirements

18yo minimum
Valid Missouri EMT License
Currently BLS CPR Card
Ability to obtain certification through the office of the EMS Medical Director for Kansas City, MO.

Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Individuals with a passion and excitement about WORLDS OF FUN.
Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
