About The Position

Join Anderson County Hospital as a PRN EMT and make a difference! Minimum 12 hours per month 7:00pm-7:00am Valid Driver's License required EMT - KS required BLS preferred On call, WITH PAY 30 minute response time The Opportunity: Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS is seeking a PRN EMT to join our team. In this role you will provide BLS pre-hospital care and transportation to appropriate healthcare facilities. Responsible for triage to efficiently assess and prioritize patients according to acuity of their condition to provide emergency care including non-invasive procedures and any procedures as may be deemed necessary by ordering physician knowledge of aseptic technique anatomy and physiology departmental standards and practices and principles of emergency medical technology in the pre-hospital setting. Performs clinical procedures and provides patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse and under certain circumstances the supervision of the physician. This position serves to secure hospital and Family Care Center by verifying designated entrances are locked each night. Requirements

  • Minimum 12 hours per month
  • 7:00pm-7:00am
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • EMT - KS required
  • Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Natl Reg-Emerg Med Tech-Basic/EMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
