About The Position

Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of EMT-I/Advanced EMT (AEMT) training.

Requirements

• High School
• Completion of a State Approved EMT-I Course of Study
• Current valid drivers license
• Current Georgia certification
• BLS CPR required
• Previous experience desirable
• Demonstrates proficiency in patient care skills for scope of practice
• A working knowledge basic computer applications
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
• Must display motor coordination, manual dexterity and physical condition, to lift, carry, extricate and administer care to patients, possess both near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle (day or night). Corrective lenses permitted.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments
