The EMT Transport Technician provides input into the care of the acute patient, anticipates and assists in stabilization, and maintenance of current therapeutic modalities. Functions under the rules, regulations and protocols of Maryland's Emergency Medical Services System as an EMT-Basic, during out-of-hospital patient transport by ambulance, medical campus emergency responses, and during medical standby events. The Lifeline team executes thousands of air, ground and in-house patient transports yearly and assists in preserving the lives of our most critically ill patients during these transports. Lifeline's mission is to bring 24/7 advanced life support and critical care services to The Johns Hopkins community.
