About The Position

St. Francis Hospital Bartlett is a 196-bed hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the community. As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett has the expertise to deliver quality care in a variety of specialties including Emergency Services, Inpatient & Outpatient Surgical Services, Med/Surge, Ortho, Critical Care and Women's Services. The Emergency Dept Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, Physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the Emergency Department and related areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) certification.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician Program.
• Emergency Medical Technician experience.
• Prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws, and placing 12 Lead ECGs.

Responsibilities

• Support all the facilities in the market as needed.
• Provide care to patients in accordance with RN direction and Physician direction.
• Utilize recognized techniques, standards of practices, and hospital policy and procedures.
