About The Position

The position involves reporting to work fit and ready to work on time daily as scheduled, checking the schedule daily for any changes necessary to accommodate unplanned business conditions. The individual will communicate with coordinators, supervisors, or department heads regarding any needs affecting work performance, completion of duties, attendance, and guest service. Proper use of timekeeping equipment and systems to record all time worked is required, adhering to the posted schedule and any adjustments made by the manager. The individual must read, understand, and practice all policies and procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook, asking for assistance if needed. Suggestions for improving guest service, department, or job efficiency should be made to the appropriate supervisor or manager. The role also includes reporting maintenance or repair needs, particularly safety-related matters, and maintaining confidentiality regarding guests, team members, and business operations. The individual will follow proper procedures for lost and found items, prepare reports for accidents and incidents, and may need to render medical assistance as required. Maintaining appropriate Emergency Medical Technician certifications and complying with established policies and procedures is essential. The individual will also enforce company policies and perform as a Security Officer when not rendering medical assistance.

Requirements

  • Must be fully licensed, including CPR certified, in the state of Indiana as an Emergency Medical Technician.
  • Must pass an Indiana Gaming Commission background investigation.
  • Must learn all Caesars Indiana Security policies and procedures.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior security experience is desired but not mandatory.
  • Previous EMT experience is strongly desired.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with coordinator, supervisor, or department head regarding any needs affecting work performance.
  • Properly use timekeeping equipment and systems to record all time worked.
  • Adhere to posted schedule and any adjustments made by the manager.
  • Read, understand, and practice all policies and procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook.
  • Make suggestions for improving guest service, department, or job efficiency.
  • Report maintenance or repair needs to the manager.
  • Pay attention to safety-related matters and report them immediately.
  • Report incidents involving illness or injury to self or others.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guests, team members, and business operations.
  • Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
  • Prepare Patron Accident Reports and Security Incident Reports.
  • Escort cheques, tokens, cash, and patrons as directed.
  • Collect and transport drop boxes to the storage/holding area.
  • Maintain guest and team member relations.
  • Render medical assistance/care as needed.
  • Maintain medical inventory supplies.
  • Comply with policies and procedures outlined by the Medical Director.
  • Cooperate with internal and external agencies on medical liability claims.
  • Perform related job duties as requested, particularly if it affects safety.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures as they apply to various manuals.
  • Perform as a Security Officer when not rendering medical assistance.
