Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of EMT-I/AEMT training.
High School
Completion of a State Approved EMT-I/AEMT Course of Study
Current valid drivers license
current Georgia certification
BLS CPR required
Demonstrates proficiency in patient care skills for scope of practice
A working knowledge basic computer applications
Must be able to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
Must display motor coordination, manual dexterity and physical condition, to lift, carry, extricate and administer care to patients, possess both near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle (day or night). Corrective lenses permitted.
