The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre- hospital and inter-facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

Requirements

  • Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification
  • Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card
  • Current and valid AHA ACLS card
  • Current and valid AHA PALS card 5. Valid Driver’s License
  • CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
  • Good driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred
