About The Position

The EMT Paramedic is responsible for ensuring the safety of the facilities we safeguard. Their primary duties include providing immediate advanced life support to employees, managing industrial accidents, and maintaining on-site medical compliance. The EMT Paramedic offers 24/7 or shift-based rapid response to medical emergencies and industrial accidents within the manufacturing plant. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
  • Hold current Paramedic certification (NREMT-P) and/or Georgia State licensure.
  • Possess at least two years of experience in emergency medical services (EMS), with industrial or emergency room experience being preferred.
  • Maintain current CPR/AED certification.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate the vehicle required.
  • Demonstrate intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
  • Exhibit the ability to handle crisis situations at client sites calmly and efficiently.
  • Safely respond to emergency incidents, combat fires, mitigate hazardous material incidents, rescue trapped individuals in confined spaces, and administer basic life support (BLS) treatment.
  • Be capable of performing firefighting duties, including advancing hose lines, operating fire apparatus pumps, safely operating power tools, climbing ladders, and wearing firefighter protective gear, including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) weighing approximately 70 pounds.
  • Work in various environments, such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shifts.
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods of time.
