About The Position

Medcor is looking to hire an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN on a PRN basis (as-needed) to be an Onsite Health Technician at our occupational health clinic in Barron, WI. The clinic operates Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm and 1:30pm - 10:00pm. This is not a full-time job. It is PRN/Coverage. Since this is on an as-needed basis there are no guaranteed hours. Requirements

• Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software.
• Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Willingness to go above and beyond in patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment.
• Relevant occupational health experience.
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative work with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, and client staff.
• Patient care and ongoing workers' compensation case management.
• Facilitation of Return to Work (RTW) programs and treatment plan monitoring.
• Participate in daily operations at Medcor's on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor's client and employees.
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence Based Medicine protocols.
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools.
• Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Medical charting and OSHA record-keeping.
