About The Position

Medcor is looking to hire an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN on a PRN basis (as-needed) to be an Onsite Health Technician at our occupational health clinic in Rochelle IL. This clinic operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The compensation for this position is $26 - $28/hour based upon experience and licensure. This is not a full-time job. It is PRN/coverage. Since this is on an as-needed basis there are no guaranteed hours. If you have the availability to pick up an occasional shift we invite you to apply.

Requirements

• Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive and outgoing personality
• Willingness to go above and beyond in patient care
• Passion for providing the best care possible

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
• Relevant occupational health experience
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor's on-site clinic
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor's client and employees
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence Based Medicine protocols
• Build and maintain internal team relationships
• Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
• Pre-employment and post-offer screenings
• Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
• Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
• Case Management
• Medical charting
• OSHA record-keeping
