About The Position

Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis as needed to be an Onsite Health Technician in our employer based occupational health clinic in Albany OR. The clinic operates 7 days a week from 8AM to 10PM. Since this is on an as needed basis, there are no guaranteed hours. If you have the availability to pick up an occasional shift, we invite you to apply. The compensation for this position is $2600 - $2800/hour.

Requirements

  • Must have valid licensure for the position in which you are applying.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including navigating cell phones, texting, fax machines, and familiarity with EMR software.
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond in patient care.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment.
  • Relevant occupational health experience.
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative work with the medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client's corporate structure.
  • Participate in daily operations at Medcor's onsite clinic.
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor's clients and employees.
  • Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence Based Medicine protocols known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships.
  • Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
  • Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
  • Documentation of care using state of the art EMR and other tools.
  • Case Management and medical charting.
