About the position
Grifols is seeking a Center Medical Specialist to join our international team dedicated to improving healthcare. This role is pivotal in enhancing the lives of millions by ensuring the highest standards of medical care in our plasma donation centers. As a Center Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing medical procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and providing support to both staff and donors. Your expertise will contribute to the development and marketing of innovative medicines and solutions that benefit patients worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Oversee medical procedures in plasma donation centers
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards
- Provide medical support and guidance to staff and donors
- Monitor donor health and safety during the donation process
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve service delivery
- Participate in training and development of center staff
Requirements
- Medical degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in transfusion medicine or plasma donation
- Strong understanding of health regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to improving patient care and donor experience
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Familiarity with plasma-derived medicines
- Bilingual skills in English and another language
