About The Position

ProHealth Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Clinical Support Associate to join our busy and welcoming Oconomowoc Primary and Urgent Care Clinic. This role is full time with benefits, offering 37.75 hours per week on a two-week rotating schedule. You'll know your hours in advance, with a consistent two-week rotation. This schedule is great for those who like having full days off during the week while still working a full-time role with benefits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or other equivalent clinical training program
• AHA BLS or ability to obtain upon hire
• 1 Year of experience, New graduates will be considered

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for their visit
• Take and document vitals and health histories
• Support providers with exams, procedures, and patient education
• Manage patient messages
• Help ensure smooth clinic flow
• Efficiently prepare exam rooms by setting up proper equipment and supplies
• Obtain vital signs and health history verification
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR
• Clean exam rooms after each patient visit and maintain sufficient stock of supplies
• Answer patient calls and obtain medical information
• Report test results and administer medications and vaccinations
• Prepare sterile fields and assist with procedures as directed by providers
• Perform therapeutic treatments, health screenings, specimen collection, and Point of Care testing
• Assist with splints or wound care under supervision
• Respond to urgent situations and call for clinical assistance as needed
• Assist in maintaining clinic medications, vaccinations, supplies, and equipment
• Float to other departments or clinic locations as assigned by PHMG Leadership
