About The Position

EMT Intermediate The EMT Intermediate is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The EMT Intermediate must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements. Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies

Requirements

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License -OR- Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
