Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, House Supervisor or Emergency Department Physician, provides care to the Emergency Department patient and obtains/transmits demographic data to other hospital departments.

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current EMT or Paramedic Certification from CA EMSA
Current California Certified Phlebotomy license
Current BLS Certification
Previous experience as an EMT, Nursing Assistant, Nursing Student or Emergency Department/Admitting Clerk
Knowledge of Medical Terminology/abbreviations
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification
