About The Position
Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service, Inc. is seeking dedicated EMTs and Paramedics to join our team across multiple locations including Elmhurst, Oak Lawn, Markham, Chicago, Des Plaines, Green Oaks, Schaumburg, Aurora, Elgin, Cary, Joliet, Evanston, Rockford, and Grayslake. Since our inception in 1959, we have grown to become the largest independent, locally owned emergency medical services provider in the Midwest, employing over 2,500 licensed EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses. Our fleet consists of more than 500 ambulances operating throughout Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, providing critical care, helicopter, and fixed-wing emergency medical transportation. As an EMT or Paramedic with Superior, you will play a crucial role in providing safe transportation and quality medical care to sick and injured individuals, adhering to state EMS regulations. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients, conveying their conditions to medical professionals, and ensuring accurate documentation for billing purposes. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of the ambulance, ensuring that all fluid levels and gauges are monitored appropriately. This position requires a commitment to delivering the highest quality care in both emergency and scheduled medical transport situations.
