About The Position

This opportunity is Per Diem Night Shift. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current Florida EMT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for routine patient care, under the supervision of an RN.
• Cleans and stocks supplies.
• Transports patients as needed.
• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height).
• Performs EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Greets patients arriving at the ER with a smile and professional demeanor.
• Performs quick registration (QPI) efficiently and accurately.
• Rounds on patients in the ER lobby and escalates patient needs to the RN.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence.
