Your job is more than a job. Let's face it, no one wants to call an ambulance or go to an emergency room. Car accident injuries, chest pains, breathing difficulties, strokes, burns, and broken bones are not choices and, as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT Basic), what you do is extraordinary. As part of an elite emergency care team that takes emotional strength and the ability to think on your feet to a whole new level, you understand the power of teamwork when you respond to urgent medical situations and provide the highest quality basic life support in a prehospital setting or in a hospital emergency department environment. Your calling is not for the faint of heart as you assess and treat patients of all ages, illnesses, and injuries performing physical exams, controlling bleeding, implementing airway control, restoring and maintaining circulation. For you, saving lives is not just a skillset, it's a mindset. And you've got both. We love that about you. Your experiences, your knowledge, your skills, your empathy, your compassion, your personality, all of it adds up to you. And we're excited to get to know you and find out what you'll bring to this first-responder emergency medical technician role.
