About The Position

The purpose of the class is to respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to the sick and injured at the EMT Basic level, and to perform related work as required. This class works according to set procedures under close supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Formal training or self-education equivalent to one year of college education
• Specialized advanced training in emergency medical technology or a closely related field
• Valid state driver's license
• Completion of required coursework and maintenance of EMT Intermediate, CPR, and other necessary certifications
• Minimum of six months of training or field experience
