JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of basic life support as defined by the respective Departments of Public Health guidelines and any applicable system regulations. Will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests when required. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all the duties assigned.) Monitor all patients as assigned to his/her care. Provide basic life support when necessary. Assist the paramedic in all advanced life support situations. Provide patients and their families with any assistance when requested. Assure the accuracy and completeness of all company and patient contact paperwork. Be responsible for all equipment and supplies as specified on company vehicle check-off sheets and inventory requirements. Maintains current certification according to provisions set forth by the governing licensure. Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times. Help promote a positive company image. Accepts other duties as assigned.
