About The Position

Requirements

• Montana Emergency Medical Technician Basic License or equivalent upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience.
• For Emergency Technician: Minimum of 6 months experience required.
• For Senior Emergency Technician: 4 years recent experience as an Emergency Technician or CNA.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of pre-hospital or hospital experience for EMT Basic.
• 6 months of pre-hospital or hospital experience for Emergency Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN.
• Support nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, quiet, clean, and organized environment for nursing care delivery.
• Work closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care.
• Assist the physician and nursing staff during procedures by providing appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures.
